Welcome to From-Japan-With-Love! Our name says it all, but for those of you who are new to shopping with us we wanted to tell you a little about ourselves.
We are a husband and wife team of Japanese and Canadian origins. I (Sofia) have been here 10 years and absolutely love the expectation of beauty that exists here. From the historical temples to the pottery and handicrafts, there is a quality of life that I did not experience back home and I think it comes down to this expectation of beauty. I fell in love with the art, the paper, the culture of crafting here and started a shop on etsy.com to make some of these things available as supplies for artists and crafters abroad. The store on etsy has been very successful and became popular quickly. I got so many requests for other types of items that simply did not qualify to be listed on etsy.com that my husband (Futoshi) and I decided to offer a wider selection of uniquely Japanese things on this site and run both sites together.

Shipping Information:
To figure out the shipping cost-Please add items to your cart and click "checkout" (don't worry-you haven't bought anything yet). On the next page you will fill out your shipping information and choose your shipping area and then you can see how much the shipping is. At this point, you can go back and change the items in your cart and it will still show you the shipping costs.
Shipping And Handling: We want the packages to arrive in perfect condition and they have a long way to travel so we ship most small packages under 2kgs in a triple layer, water, puncture and tear resistant HEAVY DUTY polyethylene 3/16” bubble lined shipping envelope. We also put in a thick piece of cardboard to protect your items from being damaged (bent etc).At this time, all small packages will be sent “ small package” air mail so tracking is not possible and there is no insurance.
Packages over 2kgs will have to go by EMS (express).
Large packages or odd shaped packages may be sent in a box and may have to be sent EMS.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
While most packages arrive quickly and safely, the occasional package does get lost. If you have not received your package after 4 weeks, please contact us so can either refund you or replace the items.
